Movie Script Review of Green Lantern
Here is a review of the proposed script of a possible Green Lantern movie. Reading this article gets me excited about this movie and I hope that it gets green-lit. I’d like to see what they would do with the Green Lantern because it sounds like the writers aren’t going to screw him up just to make him more marketable. It sounds like they get the character–who will be Hal Jordan. Some other notable points is that Clark Kent and Guy Gardner will both be in this movie, and candidates for the power ring that were passed over in favor of Hal Jordan.
It also makes me want to watch a Nova movie too. Marvel, if GL does will, it might be a good idea for you to look into a script like for the Human Rocket.

The Hammer and Shield Prevail
IGN Gomics has posted the eighth and final cover to Marvel’s Secret Invasion. Gabriele Dell’Otto’s covers for the series have been nothing short of breathtaking and brilliant. I posted the sixth cover before and now I want to showcase the eighth and final cover. It is magnificent.

The other seven covers can be found here: IGN Comics: Secret Invasion: Revelations Part Nine

Who Are You?
I have not read the Batman RIP story arc, as much as I have wanted to. I will probably get that graphic novel because from this IGN article, Bruce Wayne isn’t going to be Batman for very much longer. My pick for the mantle is Dick Grayson, formerly known as Robin and now known as Nightwing. While it may seem that this smacks of “Death of Captain America” I don’t care. If Batman is a symbol, then who is wearing the cape and cowl shouldn’t matter as much. Plus, this will really allow Batman to grow as a character. But hey, I don’t know much other than Bucky is an awesome Captain America!!!!

The Process of Comic Book Art
My favorite comic book right now is Captain America, written by Ed Brubaker and drawn by Steve Epting. Today I am hopefully getting Cap #40. In celebration of the release of Captain America #40, Steve Epting posted on the process he undergoes to do the artwork for the series. I really enjoyed reading this post and I hope you do too.

A Dream Battle
The following video is something I have always wanted to see as a fan of both Star Wars and Star Trek. What really blows me away is how well the video-maker put these scenes together to form a coherent video. Enjoy this great “What If”: Kirk Against the Empire

Two Top Tens
Here are two Top Ten lists of comic book based TV shows and cartoons.
Cartoons
I have to disagree with the exclusion of “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” for “Aquaman” but otherwise I like the list, especially the #1.
TV Shows
This list made me laugh more than anything.

Christian Bale on “The Dark Knight”
Here is an interview to get my readers pumped for the upcoming sequel to Batman Begins, The Dark Knight. Christian Bale returns to the big screen as Batman/Bruce Wayne. The interview talks about the advantages of the new Batsuit as well as reflecting upon working with Heath Ledger, who takes on the role of the Joker. But here is a paragraph that really got my attention,
Bale is next taking on another iconic role — that of John Connor in Terminator: Salvation. He says he hopes the fourth film in the series will revitalize the franchise much the same way Batman Begins did for the caped crusader. “We have an opportunity and I believe a responsibility to do the same thing in term of reinvention, revitalizing, bringing new life, otherwise there is no point in making it,” he says. “That is my aim and anything less will be a failure.”
Terminator 4, wow. I wonder if this movie will be set in the future and show humanity finally defeating Skynet and the machines. That is about the only plot premise I’ll consider paying money for. However, I do think that Bale is an excellent choice for an adult John Conner. Here is the link:
