Nahum Sarna on Exodus
Shane Lems at The Reformed Reader has posted a fine pair of posts recounting Jewish OT scholar Nahum Sarna on the book of Exodus. I really enjoyed the second post on the Exodus being a de-creation and then a re-creation by Yahweh when he redeems his people.

I have Sarna’s JPS Commentary on Genesis - I love it. I love that so many of the Christian debates he just bypasses b/c he’s not having the same arguments. It’s very refreshing.
Tom,
I have a question and you can email me the answer if you want. But do you live in Kentucky? If so how far from Louisville? It’s looking like I’m moving there in January.
Yeah, I live in Wilmore. I attend Asbury Theological Seminary. I’m guessing you’re going to Southern?
