The Souther Baptist Texan reports that pastor Robert Jeffress of First Baptist Church of Dallas intends to nominate Al Mohler of Southern Seminary as president of the SBC at the 2008 annual meeting in Indianapolis this summer on June 10. I must say I am excited by the prospect of Mohler becoming the head of the SBC and believe this is a good move for the SBC. The full article can be found here.
